If you are an individual attending one of our groups...
6-Week Programs run on a sliding scale
Suggested cost of this program is $100 (sliding scale) for the entire 6-week program. We are committed to making sure that finances are not a barrier to you coming to this event. If you can pay full price that would be great, and if full price is a bit more than your budget can handle, pay what you can. While we ask you to take these factors into consideration, please don’t stress about it. Pay what feels right.

…own the home you live in. You are employed with expendable income, and you have easy access to transportation whether that be an owned/leased vehicle or public transportation. You have investments, retirement accounts, and access to financial savings. You are able to travel recreationally. If you have regular access to healthcare and have social or economic privilege, this cost is for you.
…are supporting other dependents or children, but have little expendable income. You do not think about access to food, shelter, healthcare and have stable income. If you are able to pay for your basic needs and attending this program does not create hardship, this cost is for you.
…struggle to meet basic needs. You have unstable or inconsistent access to housing and transportation. You do not have expendable income and have medical expenses not covered by insurance. You are unemployed, a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history, or an elder with limited financial support. You are responsible for other dependents or children. If you qualify for government assistance for food/housing or live paycheck to paycheck, this cost is for you.
The sliding scale is intended to be a map, inviting each of us to take inventory of our financial resources and look deeper at our levels of privilege. It is a way to challenge the classist and capitalist society we live in and work towards economic justice on a local level.
